About Us

White Hat Rally

Formed in 2009 by individuals from the UK Information Security industry, White Hat Rally is a not for profit charitable organisation creating exciting non-competitive motor sports events to raise funds which go directly to our registered charities to support their work with vulnerable children and teenagers.

Our events are great fun, not requiring any special driving skills or vehicles. They are open to anyone aged 18 or over looking for excitement and adventure. The challenge is getting from the start to the finish, while maintaining your sense of humour! Many teams take part in old bangers decorated to the theme of the event, with fancy dress costumes to match which all adds to the fundraising frenzy.

With the many technology advances in recent years we've all benefited from improved communications, but at the same time the Internet and mobile phones have presented new channels for abuse. Children and teenagers are increasingly victims of grooming and bullying.

By raising funds for carefully chosen charities we can help to stop child cruelty. Join us as we help to support Barnardo's in their work with vulnerable children - helping to improve their lives. Last year through our 2017 Knight Riders event we raised over £54,500 for Barnardo's.

In 2016 our WhoDunnIT? event raised over £54,000. In 2015 our Way Out West event we raised over £54,000, in 2014 over £39,500, in 2013 over £45,600 and in 2012 over £38,000 for Barnardo's to support their work with vulnerable children.

In our first event in 2009 with the help of the teams we raised over £19,500 ChildLine, an NSPCC charity. In 2010 we raised more than £30,000 and in 2011 over £38,500 to help ChildLine in their work with vulnerable children.
